Oona's has reopened under new ownership. Come by and say hello! XOXO
Oona's Experienced Clothing was founded in 1972 by Kathleen White and her best friend, Deborah O'Donnell when Kathleen was pregnant with her daughter Oona -- the store's namesake.
The two friends were part of a growing number of boutiques offering unique clothing and gifts that were springing up in Harvard Square to cater to the newly liberated sensibilities of young people of the time.
These were the boutiques that gave birth to the Harvard Square culture of small, distinctive stores that we still celebrate. Oona's is the last one of these stores still standing today.
Oona's stays true to its roots, offering a place where people from all walks of life to come to be inspired and find beautiful clothing.
